The Eng Tech Recruitment team of consultants has a strong specialist knowledge of managing the supply chain. This is because they have actually done the work themselves.
Consequently, when we present a candidate, it is on the basis that we have interviewed the person and consider him/her suitable for the role - based upon our own experience.
When we submit a candidate it will be as a result of a considered judgement and the covering email or letter will briefly explain our reasons why we think that this person is suitable.

Barry Gough
An experienced Engineer, Supply Chain Manager & Systems Analyst, I was for eleven years, the Supply Chain and Operations Manager to Pelmark Ltd., a market leading Promotional Leisurewear Sourcing and Manufacturing Company, with very demanding blue chip clients such as Formula One teams, where I was responsible for TOTAL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, ALL PRODUCTION & PRODUCT QUALITY, and HR. I have experienced the problems associated with recruitment, both DIY, and by utilising agents, some of whom appear to have little or no background knowledge or understanding of the workplace or job ethics in question.
I have spent many years responding to supply chain issues all over the world, and have on many occasions just dropped everything and headed for Europe, the Far East or Middle East to put a critical manufacturing line or supply issue back on track.
Prior to this, I was a uniformed member of the armed forces for thirty one years, where I was Transport Manager of the largest fleet of RAF vehicles, computer implementer, senior database manager and systems analyst.
I know what makes ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES & SUPPLY CHAINS tick from just about every angle, and more importantly just what silences the tick, and it always boils down to just three things - processes, communications and people! So, if you recruit the most suitable person for the role, you can rest assured that communications in that area will be at their best, then you can work on your procedures, and then relax but not for too long!
We can help you to recruit the right person, so come to Eng Tech Recruitment - Where your demanding and exacting requirements are our own standards.

I spent my early working years as a Stenographer and Shorthand typist in Singapore, where as PA to OC Operations Wing at RAF Changi, I gained a great deal of experience in Office Management and Resources.
On my return to the UK, I worked for White & Co Portsmouth, where I coordinated all of the Removals and Storage requirements, and maintained their schedules. I then worked for Bright Electrical Manufacturing in Huntingdon, where I was PA and Office Manager. Here I gained a working knowledge of PAYE and HR issues.
My next move was to Sardinia, where I worked in the Supply and Movements Squadron on the Italian Aeronautical Base at AWTI Decimomannu. Here, in addition to normal secretarial duties, I was responsible for the issuing of flight boarding passes and managing the airport news and gift shop.
I am now in charge of the company purse strings, and work to the policies of spend-to-save, and funding to improve quality.
